TRAFILTUBI srl - applications: racing bicycles

Trafiltubi supplies its own piping to the best suppliers of top of the range bicycles, famous throughout the world for the quality of their products. In fact, right from the outset, Trafiltubi has promoted research into the racing bicycle sector by developing the best options for more competitive performance.

Their research into finding advanced options in the racing bicycle sector led Trafiltubi in 2004 to create the Multishape frame for bicycles that aimed to re-launch steel on bicycles by proposing special piping in 15 CDV6, made lighter and with no paintwork, and protected only by nickel plating.

As an evolution of this project, Trafiltubi promoted innovation research that saw the creation of a new, exclusive piping, patented and on sale since 2007: The HInoxTUBE®, created using cold drawing of high performance stainless steel material, to date only used in the full version and for extreme applications in the aeronautical, space and nuclear industries.

HInoxTUBE® is used to produce:
the exclusive piping series XCr Columbus
and the commemorative Gilco frames.
