Alloy and carbon steel pipes
Trafiltubi produces pipes in almost all qualities of steels for the widest variety of applications: steels for the engineering industry (like E235, E255, E355, E410 and more), case hardening steels (like 16MnCr5 and 16MnCrS5), tempering steels (like C35, C45, C60, 25CrMo4, 4130, 42CrMo4, 15CrMoV6 or 15CDV6 or SCV), and steels for heat applications (like TP91 and TP9). In addition to those summarized in the tables below, more steels are available on request.
Special alloyed carbon steels (25CrMo4, 42CrMo4, 15CDV6 / SCV): mechanical properties depend on the heat treatments applied.
The pictures 5 and 7 tables below compare the different mechanical characteristics achievable from different special steels (25CrMo4, 42CrMo4, 16MnCr5, 16MnCrS5, 39NiCrMo3, 15CDV6 / SCV and others).
